Akin Building Center Supports Clarinda Veterans Fund

At Akin Building Centers, helping our communities is what we do. In 2026, we’re focusing on being good neighbors—supporting local youth, nonprofits, and causes that make our towns stronger. In Iowa, a great community is one where everyone helps everyone, especially when it matters most.

Recently, our Clarinda store was proud to support the Clarinda Veterans Fund. Store Manager Dick Auffert represented Akin, while Rob Reed and Gary Rock represented the Veterans Fund. It’s just part of our effort to give back and pitch in where we can.

We also want to thank all veterans for their service and sacrifice. We are forever grateful for everything you’ve done for this community and our country.
