2024 Akin Night at the Races

One fun tradition at Akin Building Center is the annual Akin Race Night at the Adam’s County Speedway in Corning, Iowa. Team members from all four store locations gathered together in the box at the top of the bleachers for a night of good food and racing fun. This is an event that our team members look forward to every year! The owners of Akin also take part in the event, making it a great way to hang out outside of business hours as a team.

Akin Race Night for 2025 has been scheduled for Saturday June 7th, 2025 at the Adams County Speedway and looks to be another night of racing fun!
