General Manager

Serve as a liaison between the company owners and store managers. Assist in manager meetings. Keep abreast of lumber and panel prices. Be alert to market prices and conditions. Set cost and retails for lumber and commodity items. Travel to store locations to make sure that stores and lumberyards are clean ,stocked and in order. Work with store managers to keep up with employee needs, concerns and expectations. Set up meetings with vendors. Facilitate customer appreciation and vendor “How to Do” meetings for contractors. Travel to various markets to become aware of and purchase new and improved items for company locations to keep current merchandise levels and meeting customer needs.
